Gutenberg’s press. You could certainly buy and run your own press, but there are easier and cheaper options for self-publishing.

So, you've decided to publish a book of your art. Good for you! What's the next step?

First, reconsider whether to self-publish or seek a publisher. I'm assuming you're opting for self-publishing, as it allows you to start right away instead of waiting months for a publisher to take you on. Going the traditional route of sending out query letters and follow-ups takes a lot of time and often involves rejection. It's a frustrating process that you get used to after a while. On the other hand, a publisher handles most of the heavy lifting; you only need to supply the text and images, with some back-and-forth with the editor.
